I don't own this book but I am a bit of a bookworm so I go to the library, and sometimes instead of looking at my usual JK Rowling and co., I went for this instead. And I was pleasantly surprised! The looks in this book are really natural and beautiful. I used to be into dramatic smokey eyes and huge wings but this book convinced me to tone it down. This book has lots of credibility. Well I'm no teenage beauty but when I found a copy of this book in a cut price book store I thought it might be worth reading. Bobbi Brown writes on skin care, haircare, makeup and general body 'maintenance'. There's a useful section on basic skin care and how to tell what type of you skin you have. It also advises what is bewst for each type of complexion. The section on spots and how to cope is quite useful if you are a teenager.
