I picked up this book in a charity shop when I was on holiday. I don't tend to read books by authors that I don't already know that I like unless they have been recommended to me or I have been particularly inspired by a book review but the plot of this story really appealed to me. I'm not sure if I can really call it a plot, I tend to think of romance novels as not really having a plot and this book is a typical romance novel. Sandy Kirk and Clint McCade have been friends since they were children growing up in the wrong part of town.
