Francis wrote a sequel to his best-selling Break In, something he has never done before or since. Bolt is equally as good as Break In but actually tells a slightly different story. Most of the chracters we met in Break In are all present but the added attraction here is that our hero starts dating the niece of a princess and ends up having to protect the family's fortune and reputation when the princess's husband's business partner wants to use their company to manufacture guns. Champion jockey Kit Fielding again proves his mettle when Henri Nanterre, the ruthless business partner of his fiancee's uncle, tries to convert their road construction company into an armaments enterprise.
