Disadvantages: you can find the same books cheaper elsewhere , commitment, postage costs

i was a member for a while but found the additional charges off-putting.

i didn't liek being committed to buying a certain number of books, and frequently found the same books cheaper elsewhere, particularly when you have to add the cost of postage.

i was also sent books i didn't want as i often forgot to send back the form stating that i didn't require the recommended selection. i found that a hassle, and a little unneccessary.

i also didn't like the fact that you were chrged to return a book.
