The Woman in the Fifth - Douglas Kennedy - Compelling, well-characterised, an effective genre-hopper. Not the strongest of endings.
Down to A Sunless Sea - David Graham - An excellent read, despite being slightly outdated, a lot of it rings true to current events. The pilot talk sometimes gets a bit too technical.
Perfect Lives - Polly Samson - Beautifully written, lots of layers of connections between stories I wanted to know more about the characters later
September - Rosamunde Pilcher - Nice family drama - good for a holiday read Seems to be out of sync with reality
