Advantages: Fun holiday book

Disadvantages: None

I read the book BEFORE seeing the film (as I often do) and completely loved both. I don't get the time to read much normally but when I go on holiday I read for hours every day.

This book is perfect for a holiday novel - funny and entertaining. As is often the case, there was quite a large chunk from the book missing in the film so even if you have seen the film I would recommend the book. I even LOL (laughed out loud) on the beach several times!

I much preferred the film to the book.

Hiya and ditto what everyone else said. A belated warm welcome to dooyoo - hope you have fun here. I personally thought the book was much better than the film. Although if you buy the DVD, all the best bits from the book are the outtakes - go figure! The second book is even funnier still!!

Sorry for the low rating, but you could've said a lot more about the plot, and *why* it was funny, etc.
