Although Helen Fielding is one of my favourite writers, this book was not one I'm glad I bought. It did not live up to the reputation of the previous two Bridget Joneses or even the less widely read Cause Celeb. This is basically an A to Z of Bridget Joneses life and includes information on alcohol, partying and f**ckwits (aka men) among other things, but the style and presentation are sadly lacking. One of the main problems is that there is no new material here - it is bits and pieces chopped out of the previous two installments and slapped together in a haphazard way. None, really...Hmm, I'm trying to think - no I can't think of any! ..Okay, there are a few typos in the latter half of the book, but Mitchell claims them at the beginning as his 'own handiwork'
