Advantages: Well written

Disadvantages: Complex subject

I have not studied physics or chemistry beyond year nine (I went to an odd school some time ago !) but the subject fascinates me. Having seen Stephen Hawking on TV I was inspired to read his book and am vey glad I did.
It is well written and esy to follow - while you are reading it. However the subject of higher physics is very complicated and it can several readings before some points are understood.
However this is a book eveeryone should have a go at - particularly if they have more than a passing interest in time, black holes and the like.

Hmmm, I think I may just have to get this book out now...black holes, space-time, quantum...what more could a girl want?!
