Advantages: Rich descriptions, realistic charactors, high action.

Disadvantages: Somewhat predictable endings

I first started reading Terry Brooks novels when I was bought a copy of 'The Sword of Shanara' for Christmas, since then i have read all of his books that are in paperback, and I have enjoyed them all completly.
Terry Brooks has a very epic style of writing that is quite remenisant of Tolken, but has an ability to mix this with high pased action missing from most of Tolken's work. However Brooks' work does seam to follow a definate formula, with the plot being somewhat predictable towards the end of his books, and some of the novels could do with a few more twists. But overall the action and beautiful descriptions make any of his books a must read.

I do feel you could have given a fair bit more info, but what you wrote was good, hence the 'U'. A few typos, thought - 'definite' and 'paced'. Hope that helps!
