Advantages: Escape reality
Disadvantages: For hours and hours
Terry Brooks was brought to my attention by my good old dad! There's another thing I've got to thank my dad for. I started off with the brilliant Magic Kingdom for sale title. It starts off with Ben Holiday who is a lawyer in America who's wife died and is unhappy with life and looking for, well he doesn't really know! Looking through a stores special gifts catalogue he spots an advert for a Magic Kingdom complete with dragons, witches and fairy creatures, the price of $1,000,000 is for the chance to be King. Being a lawyer, based in reality he doesn't belive it, or does he? I won't be giving away the plot to say he buys the kingdom and becomes King, but that when his toubles and the book really start. Terry Brooks is a great author and his books are very difficult to put down, his characters are well filled out and get to be quite believable, yes, even the talking dog! Give this author a few hours of your time - you won't be dissaponted.
