Advantages: The best book in the world

Disadvantages: you can't put it down so you have to have time to read it all

I have a thing for pocket books as everyone should know by now... Buffy The Vampire Slayer is a great TV series, so I've heard, and it's supposed to capture you... I don't know whether these opinions are true or not considering I have not watched one single episode from Buffy the Vampire Slayer... My parents banned me from watching it and I haven't seen the box sets anywhere although I tend not to look, but that's not the point.
Now that I'm earning money for writing reviews will help me get the things I want / need, like The Buffy the Vampire Slayer box sets, and the more people review things that I read, I tend to want them too!

Now back to those 2 opinions right at the top, made me wonder if the books are better or worse. Considering I can't decide whether they are better or worse, I wouldn't know. But considering the TV Series was a complete hit I presume it was BRILLIANT.
If I had to say only 2 of my opinions on this book, the 2 at the top would be the ones I would choose. I presume this book (the first book in this series although there is many different Buffy the Vampire Slayer Series) is a really great book and ALL pocket books (well as far as I believe anyway) are really great books, and this one is very captivating, you seriously can not put it down unless you have to!

I presume this book is the same type of story line as the first episode, although I haven't got a clue, but all pocket books' first book in a series is almost the same as the first episode, if not better. If I have now confused you I am totally sorry!
This book starts off with Buffy moving to a new town called Sunnydale in California, little does she know that this is the middle and all vampires like to go here and she suddenly crosses with a Librarian who turns out to be her guide and helper. She makes 3 new friends, Willow, Xander & Jesse. Her first mission is that she crosses with Vampires who has taken her 3 friends, she manages to save Xander and Willow, but when they rescue Jesse, He's turned.

Now it's no coincidence Buffy has come to Sunnydale, this town this time as the area is a center (people living in the UK will spell it CENTRE) of mystical energy, and the signs point to an imminent, crucial upheaval. Once in a century comes The Harvest: a night when the Master Vampire can draw enough power to break free and open the portal between his world and ours... unleashing havoc.
Will Buffy alone defeat the Master Vampire and all the others? Will she let Willow and Xander on her little secret? Will they fight by her or think she's mental? How will Giles (The Librarian) help, he can't slay, he's just there to guide the slayer!

Now one thing I really hate about American books being published in the UK is that the publishers can't be bothered to change all the books into UK speak, like center is supposed to be spelt centre and color is supposed to be spelt colour and jell-O is supposed to be spelt jelly. It's so annoying, but as long as I know what's what I'm fine.

She loves to read and write scary books. Richie enjoys writing when it is rainy and gloomy outside, and likes to have a spooky soundtrack playing in the background. She writes at a desk that originally belonged to a funeral director in the 1800s and that she believes is haunted. Halloween is one of her favourite Holidays. She decorates the entire house, which includes having a body laid out in a state in the parlor, life-size models of Frankenstein's Monster, the figure of Death to keep watch, and scary costumes for Hannah and Meg, her dogs. A neighbour told her that a previous owner was feared by all of the neighbourhood kids and no one would go to the house on Halloween.

Now I got this from Amazon for £0.01 although there is a £2.45 or some thing like that as postage & packaging which sends the price up a little bit but in my opinion if you had to spend £10 on this book its well worth it! GET IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
