I'm quite good at getting lost in shopping centres; It's a skill I've been perfecting since I was a toddler, and now I have my own children to distract me I'm better than ever. Fortunately Christian discovered this at an early age and came up with a solution. Whenever we're out he throws a selection of items (books, blankets, the current favourite toy, his baby brother) out of the pram, and when I seem to be wondering aimlessly he screams for whatever he lost till I turn back and follow the path of abandoned baby items back to the real world outside of the shopping centre. These are small board books, about 20 pages long, which have straps to attach them to pushchairs or car seats. There are many different ones, the latest ones having a mirror in the back of the books which my daughter particularly likes. They have pictures of babies inside, with each book having a different theme - bathtime, playtime, numbers or colours. Other Buggy Buddies have animal themes. These books are very popular with lots of babies having them strapped to their pushchairs - they save having to constantly pick your child's book up off the floor when out, or even losing them. Ever since my daughter went in a pushchair, she has always loved her Buggy Buddies Book. You can actually buy all sorts of versions of these, nowadays - Lucy's favourite is the "Colours" one. The books have a hard cover, which is a good job as my daughter chewed one of hers so much that you could hardly read the pages. They also have no more than about 10 ... Read the complete review

Buggy Buddies are a selection of small books that are designed with a loop of plastic attached to a plastic spring that attaches to a pushchair - what a fantastic idea!!! The books vary from pets with touch and feel areas, to specific animals, as the picture shows. The books are small enough for little hands to use without adult interference, and simple enough that a young child can be entertained without being overwhelmed by lots of words. The books are bright and colourful which grab a child's attention so that when they are somewhere boring like the shops, they want to read them. The attachment to the pushchair is strong and sturdy ... Read the complete review
