Lucy Daniels writes a series of childrens' books within a collection called Animal Ark. These books are about Mandy Hope, whose parents are vets, and the animals she has to meet and help. These were some of my favourite books, some of which I owned and some borrowed. One I owned though was Bunnis in the Bathroom.

In Bunnies in the Bathroom, Mandy's friend wants bunnies from a pet shop, but they are sold before they get a chance to go and buy them. Mandy tries to track the bunnies down and buy them off the new owner, but will she be able to find them?

The story is quite perculiar. It souds quite selfish of Mandy to want to get bunnies back even though the other person did fairly buy them first, however once you read, you do understand where she is coming from, and why she feels the need to do this!

The cover too is quite attractive, with sweet little bunnies pictured on the front! Although you should never judge a book by its cover, I feel this one does give a fair impression of the story! It's very light to read with no great detail. I read this when I was about nine or ten and found it most enjoyable and entertaining. I would say that is the perfect target audience!

Finding this book is not hard. You can find it in most good book stores (WHSmith, Waterstones) usually priced at around £6. For a good read, that is not too bad. I find it is a really good book especially for travelling or on holidays. You are likely to be able to borrow it from your local Childrens Library. I've borrowed many Animal Ark books from the library and found I could finish them in time before their return date. If you wish for your own copy but dont want to pay much I am sure it will be on eBay or Amazon from time to time.

This is a fantastic book, I feel more suited for girls, but of course readable for boys too! Although I enjoyed it when I was much younger, I am sure I would enjoy its soft tale now about the fluffy little bunnies (!) and is certainly one to look out for!
