Advantages: Good story, nice follow on, more emotional

Disadvantages: Ending will disappoint

This is the fifth book in the young Bond series by Charlie Higson. The series tells us the story of a young James Bond and his adventures at Eton and also around the world as he grows up to become the man he is.

In this book we join James returning from his last adventure on his way to the alps to join his class mates from Eton on their skiing holiday. After rescuing a class mate and nearly dying himself he returns to Eton but not all is what it seems.

I've enjoyed the other books and this one is still up to the standard set by the first. It's a good page turner and if you like the Alex Rider series then you should definitely check out these books as this series is also very well written. James has progressed throughout and its nice to see that they've added in some more emotional stuff for him this time which makes me the reader feel more involved in the story and for one of the first times we can actually relate to his character which many authors struggle to achieve.

If you have read the rest of the series then you should pick this up, even if it's just to find out what happens next in his adventures.

Summary: Another good entry into this series of books
