Advantages: A great easy read with a good believable storyline!
Disadvantages: Not the best Belinda Jones book, but still great!
I am a huge fan of Belinda Jones, I have loved every book I have read by her, and I only have one book to read until I have read the whole set. I read this book a few months ago when I had it out from the library, I had looked forward to reading the book, and I wasn't disappointed by the result!
THE PLOT
Ava Langston is a young woman living in Bath, she knows what she wants and thats to own her own cafe, she has even found the perfect location in an arcade in Bath town centre. But when her long distance father calls her from Costa Rica asking her to come visit and meet his new (and very young!) wife, she is reluctant...that is until she is told she will front a beach front cafe, and manage it while she is there. This seals the deal and so off she goes to Costa Rica, her father is a let down, he has never done anything right by Ava, he acts like she isn't even there, and she is not looking forward to meeting his new little wifey, but the thought of running her own cafe, especially seeing as her offer on the location she wanted for her own cafe was refused, she puts on a happy face and tries to enjoy Costa Rica.
But she wasn't banking on meeting Santiago, her fathers right hand man, who is co-managing the cafe with Ava...something which her father decided not to tell her!!! He's moody and seems to have something against Ava before he has even met her, so they decide whoever earns the most money in a month gets to manage the cafe full time....
Then there is Ryan, he swings through the trees and loves the outdoors, and he seems to have a shine for Ava, but there's something funny about him...!
My Opinion
The book although not as good as some of the other Belinda Jones Books; I love Capri, The Love Adacedmy, Out of the Blue, The Paradise Rooms, but it is still a very good book, and up there with some of the best I have read.
The story is nice and easy to understand which makes it perfect for bedtime reading, I got through the book in a couple of nights! The perfect book to take on holiday with you, or on a long flight!! :)
Summary: A fab bed time or holiday read as with all Jones' books!
