I love making cakes for all occassions and have bought plenty of cake decorating books, yet this one remains my favourite, simple becuase of the huge variety of different themed cakes you can make! I got this book from Amazon for the small price of £8.50 and it is worth every penny and more! *Introduction* The book starts by introducing teh variety of tools you may need to bake the cakes as well as decorating tools. There are plnety of photos showing you how to line the tin with greaseproof paper and levelling a cake. There is also a few pages about using colours on cake, such as which colours are complementary and how to create different shades ... Read the complete review

Expensive - but well worth it if you want to learn about food as well as recipes Great layout and esay recipes Distinct ack of cupcake recipes It has some good and easy recipes Many of them are not really easy and they need special ingredients I do seem a bit more motivated to eat better and exercise more The book is rubbish Gorgeous illustrations, accessible ingredients, good alternative suggestions, degrees of complexity Not enough illustrations very pretty, well-laid-out, recipes appear simplistic, complex drinks, for people with more know-how on the subject.Feast for Crows - George R.
