Calculations in AS/A-level Chemistry had been a lifesaver during my study of the subject. I remembered when I had trouble understanding the Hess's cycle, one of the topics of the module Physical and Inorganic chemistry, as my teacher hadn't explained it properly. Reading through the notes on the topic and doing the questions led me to almost getting full marks on the topic test and I eventually got an A in that module.
