A different read but a very well written truthful tale. You feel for "Elizabeth" and get a great idea of the scene Dawn Annandale is trying to portray to you the reader. This book tells the story of the life struggles of a young woman who has all the credentials to be successful but what life throws at her prevent it. Her marriage wasn't a success and she adored her children. With plenty of money worries turning to be an escort. I read this while I was on holiday and as always, enjoy a good autobiography like this. I'm always careful with DVDs and books not to give away too much - about the characters or the plot, as I think you should get to know this as you read, so I haven't gone into huge detail. The Plot: This is a true story written by a woman who finds herself struggling so much financially that she starts working as a prostitute in order to support her family. Elizabeth (as she calls herself) has an unhappy childhood and experiences a lot of instability both as a child and as an adult. My friend lent me this book after telling me how fabulous this book was and how much she enjoyed it, she is now looking for other books written by this author. The book is about a lady who had a really tough childhood, and the first chapter is about this. Her mother and father got married, against their own parents wishes - her mother came from a wealthy background and her father more of a working class background, but they fell in love and had to be together. They got married and had some children, but then some cracks appeared in their marriage, due to their differing backgrounds.
