A different read but a very well written truthful tale. You feel for "Elizabeth" and get a great idea of the scene Dawn Annandale is trying to portray to you the reader.
This book tells the story of the life struggles of a young woman who has all the credentials to be successful but what life throws at her prevent it. Her marriage wasn't a success and she adored her children. With plenty of money worries turning to be an escort. Being part of a number of agencies "Elizabeth" encounters the dangers and worries of being an escort. With a change in circumstances "Elizabeth" finds herself single and dating a guy that she explains how she earns her money but will she be able to stop and will her partner be able to cope with the reality of what "Elizabeth" does or possibly did.
A book that is easy to read and flows well. "Call Me Elizabeth" gives an insight into how difficult life can be and to what extent some people will go to, to make sure their family can have a decent life in as much of a stable environment that can be provided for.
Dawn Annandale writes about situation in such a way you want to stay reading the book cover to cover. You feel the emotions and strains on "Elizabeth" and how much she so desperately wants her children to be happy and live a "normal" life.
I do recommend this book, it is not a heavy read, but a book you will feel the relief and happiness towards the end.
