Calling on Lily - Louise Harwood ... friendship and loyalty; What do you do if your best friend is about to marry the wrong girl? Buy the matching bathrobes and keep your mouth shut? Or kidnap the groom on his stag night and hold him in a remote cottage in the Welsh borders until the wedding day has safely passed? Hal's friends know what they want to do, but they haven't reckoned on being overheard by Lily - who has already witnessed the devastation of her sister's wedding day, and is going to do anything she can to save this one - and Kirsty, Lily's friend, initially more interested in pulling the groom, but swift to take up the challenge. Set in the wonderful countryside around the border town of Welshpool, Calling on Lily is a warm and winning novel about kidnap, deception, cattle prods and hoof picks, about falling in love and about how far you should go for a friend.
