Advantages: Excellent book from A Brilliant Author
Disadvantages: Well I Guess Men Might Not Find It As Interesting Or Maybe They Would Lol
This is another book I read quite a number of years ago, I borrowed it off my dad's girlfriend and couldnt remember the title for years which really bugged me. Then I was on Amazon about a month ago and couldnt believe my eyes when I saw the book cover on my recommendations! So I brought it straight away and as soon as it got here I read it cover to cover and just couldnt put it down!
Quick Book Review:
The author of this book is the wildly successful Sophie Kinsella who's name you might know from the "Shopaholic" series of books and she got this book published in 2003 by Black Swan Books.
The main character of this story is Emma a normal everyday girl, and like most normal girls Emma has secrets, not earth shattering secrets but little ones like, her G-String is hurting or she thinks her boyfriend looks like Ken of Barbie and Ken. So she has a few little secrets that she intends to remain in her head. Until a chance meeting on a plane and she ends up blurting all her secrets out to a stranger on a plane! But is this man really a stranger? No it turns out he is only the owner of the company she works for!
From the minute Emma meets Jack (the stranger) her life changes this man knows every deep dark secret she has, but what will he do with these secrets? Well you will have to read the book to find that out but I will say there are many twists and laugh out loud bits in this book which both help to make it excellent reading. There are times when we actually feel Emma's pain and embarassment and she is a very likeable person.
A fabulous read, however I think maybe women would enjoy it more than men as it is quite a girly "chick" book.
10/10 another fantastic book by Sophie Kinsella!
