Card Captor Sakura is the manga of the hit anime series from Japan. If the regularity of appearances of Sakura in Japanese anime mgazines like Newtype is anything to go by the Japanese still love Sakura. I can't really blame them everything about the show is cute. It's a manga suitable for all ages and in the US translation targeted at young girls. I am getting the monthly US translation release, but I'm also getting the collected books from a Japanese bookstore. I feel I must start this review with a declaration of complete and utter bias. I love this series. I love the manga, and I love the anime. Now that the ground rules have been set, allow me to continue... Sakura is a normal young japanese girl. She lives with her father, a university lecturer, and her older brother Touya. She also has the hugest crush on Touya's bestfriend Yukito. One day, she is alone in her house completing her chores when she hears a strange noise.
