I would initially like to point out, realising many readers' feelings towards Carol Vorderman, that she is not the authoress of this workbook - the author is actually John Hesk, who is also responsible for the workbook in this series that is aimed at 10-11-year-olds (the subject of an earlier review of mine). This workbook is aimed at 9-10-year-olds, in other words pupils in Year 5 at primary schools in England and Wales, and according to its front cover it 'supports curriculum teaching in the UK and Ireland'.
