The Cat in the Hat is a wonderful book which has been written by Dr Seuss. It is the follow on book to the very popular Cat in the Hat. The front cover of the book is blue and has a picture of the cat wearing his red and white stripy hat and around the edge of the cover is a red boarder. The title is at the top in white lettering. The back cover of the book is white and has a detailed paragraph telling is about this book and again around the edge is a red border. Being an avid dr seuss readre, this probably counts me out from delivering any kind of objective summary - but don't take my word for it. Give this book to any to any five to seven year old and see how they react to it. i am sure that it will go down a treat. The rhyming story maintains a brisk pace from the beginning and children can relate well to the mischievous theme running throughout.
