Cat O' Nine Tales - Jeffrey Archer

Description: ISBN 0330418831 / Author: Jeffrey Archer / Genre: Fiction / Cat O' Nine Tales is the sixth collection of irresistible short stories from the master storyteller illustrated by the internationally acclaimed artist, Ronald Searle, creator of Molesworth. These twelve yarns are so ... more
Cat O' Nine Tales - Jeffrey Archer ... satisfying because they are ingeniously plotted, include richly drawn characters and have deliciously unexpected conclusions. They feature the mad, the bad and the dangerous to know as well as some more poignant and telling characters. Many of these stories came to Archer while he was incarcerated for two years in five different prisons, and so they have a prison theme. Others were inspired since he was released, but all in all they confirm his position as one of the best storytellers alive today.

plans. The most exciting events occur at the end, with a surprise which some may have been expecting. Premium Review follow own from Kane and Abel (179 words)
by falcon1959 - written on 03/07/09 (Useful, 8 readings)
Rating:

This is the second book that follows on from Archers Kane and Abel. This follows the story of Florentyna who is Abels daughter. You will share in her triumphs and her losses as she takes on the legacy of what her father has handed to her. Not only will you enjoy her story but it has something for romantics as well, as she goes from young lady to a grown woman. She has inherited her fathers mind and ambition for business. Which she will need in a business controlled by the male. It links well with the first book, Kane and Abel, with a slight and nice twist at the end that brings both Kane and Abel almost to accepting one another. If you enjoyed the first book this will be no ...
