Following on from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, this again is a very amusing tale of the continuing adventures of Charlie and Mr Wonka after their tour of the amazing chocolate factory. In particular, the story revolves around Mr Wonka's amazing Glass Elevator. Dahl again shows mastery when it comes to writing down a creative imagination, in a form for children to enjoy. A fitting sequel to the adventures in the chocolate factory, this is an easy and enjoyable read.
