Advantages: Witty, very funny, brilliant characters and wonderful story

Disadvantages: Made me cry, it finished

Leaving a difficult past in America behind, Daisy Rogers ends up working in catering and hospitality as a front-of-house girl for a Formula 1 Grand Prix team. She and her best friend, Holly, have the time of their lives flying all over the world to the likes of Melbourne, Monte Carlo, São Paulo and Singapore, working for famous high-flying racing drivers by day and partying by night.

But when she falls for one of the drivers, Will Trust, Daisy's life becomes a lot more complicated, especially as she thought she'd given up on men. Not only does Will have a girlfriend but a stunning and very charitable one at that. Then there's Luis Castro, the other driver on Will's team, who is obnoxious, irritating and incredibly sexy, and his and Daisy's firey tempers clash straight away.

Daisy's life soon seems to turn into a whirlwind amid a rush of speed, money, danger, success, and lots of risks.

~ My opinion ~
The very first sentence of this book immediately starts off being firey and funny which meant that I was instantly hooked.

Daisy is a lovely character, sweet, warm, friendly and instantly likeable. She has a mysterious past which has made her an even stronger person as she has managed to pick herself up from difficult events in her life and still remains a happy and care-free girl.

There are two men, both racing drivers on the same team, who she forms bonds with - Will and Luis. Will is a loving and caring guy, fair skin with light blonde hair, who Daisy falls for as soon as she sets eyes on him. But the presence of his girlfriend, who is annoyingly his childhood sweetheart, prevents her from making a move. Luis on the other hand, is the complete opposite to Will. He is Brazilian with dark skin and even darker hair. He is charming and funny but his womanising ways ensures Daisy stays clear. The relationships she has with her two friends are so different - with Will Daisy is polite, friendly and loving, yet with Luis she is firey, bad-tempered and sexy.

Throughout the book it is obvious that Luis has feelings for Daisy whereas Will's feelings aren't so transparent. Both men are wonderful characters and I was never sure which one I wanted Daisy to end up with. But about half way through the book, something happens which will make up Daisy's mind for her. This was a totally shocking and unexpected event which I really didn't see coming, especially in a light-hearted funny book like this, which just made it even more shocking. Although it was quite upsetting, this made the book much more realistic and powerful.

Holly is a wonderful best friend, even though the girly pair still even have a few of their own secrets from each other. Their lives are amazing travelling all over the world having the time of their lives and I couldn't help feeling very jealous and wishing for a job like theirs.

Paige Toon is a brilliant writer as she kept me completely gripped the entire way through. I couldn't put it down I loved it so much but at the same time I didn't want it to finish. She manages to convey the exact feelings that Daisy has including fear, sadness, embarrassment and happiness. One paragraph I'd be crying and the next I'd be laughing out loud. I actually laughed so hard at one point that I nearly ended up choking! She has a fantastic witty style of writing where it is written in a very light-hearted and funny way which had me smiling and laughing throughout. This is a fabulous book, I enjoyed it so much, and any fan of chick-lit books have to read this.

Summary: A fantastic chick-lit
