by Emmay99 - written on 26/10/08 (Very useful, 40 readings)
Rating:

Once again Shirley Hughes beautifully writes and illustrates a story concerning a day in the life to two small children, Lucy and Tom. Then we have the fear of being trapped on the wrong side of the door with Mum safely on the other. A little thing to an adult but so important to any child. This is brilliantly written showing how alfie is a bit scared but without going too far. The happiness when all is solved. The Alfie books all ...
