I have never been a fan of corniness. You know in the film Romeo and Juliet when Juliet dies? Practically the whole cinema was in tears. Oh no, not me. I caught my friends eye and cracked up laughing. I couldn't count the number of disgusted looks I got. Oh, and remember when Tifanny was run over in Eastenders? Hilarious. I am not a heartless cow, I just have a strange sense of humour. Honest. So I should not really be the type of person to appreciate the Chicken Soup books. A good Soup By Too Many Cooks Introduction ========= Story telling is an art required special skill but writing story may be more difficult. This book has done enough justice to spread love and peace when it is required most in this time of the millennium. When I got this book for Christmas, my heart sank, as I don't like chicken soup... and soul is something that Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye may have, but not me! So, the book sat on the shelf unread for several months, until one night I really had the urge to read something new, and this book was the only one left, my last resort. The series has sold over 33 million copies and it is still churning out more titles that are being devoured by fans of the series that just can’t get enough.
