We had 2 girls already and for our 3rd child we definitley wanted a boy. I saw the book , bought it and decided to give it a go. I also recorded a record of my temperature as there is suppose to be a dip when you ovulate, but that was too much messing about. I decided to just check on my mucus as this increases at ovulation time as stated in the book . I did this for about 5 months and it was usually about the same time. My husband wore loose fitting under garments, he cooled his testicles each night before bed, he slightly followed the diet. On the 5th month we decided to give it a go. i didnt think it would work for me, i already had 2 boys,whom i love dearly,but longed for a girl, my hubby is 1 of3 ,his brother has 2 boys, i studied the book over and over,spent 9mths taking my temperature etc etc, when i discovered i was pregnant first time of trying this method, i was convinced i was going to have another boy, for 9mths of my pregnancy i got it stuck in my head "its a boy,its a boy" at my final scan i asked if they could tell and was told 98%a girl,i was shocked but still kept telling myself "boy", when i gave birth to a most beautiful girl, it took ages to sink in.i thought maybe it was just luck, a friend of mine has 2 boys and ... Firstly I would like to say that I know some people will totally disagree with this type of book and think that you should let nature take its own course. I have 3 of the most beautiful boys ever and I love them so much it hurts. We have always wanted 4 or 5 children and don't mind what their sexes are as long as they are healthy and happy. Then I saw this book in a shop and it grabbed my attention. It made interesting reading so I bought it. It tells you from the start that there is no guarantee that if you want a certain sex child and follow what the book says that it will work.
