Elephants Can Remember - Agatha Christie ... am a huge fan of Agatha Christie and have read a huge number of her books but i have to say i was quite disapointed by Elephants can remember. i personally found the storyline quite dull and struggled to get all the way through. i also found the book slow moving and even when it did get going predictable and tedious. the story is set around mystery writer Ariadine Oliver and follows the tale of a real crime that happened in her past: an apparent tale of the double suicide of two of her friends twleve years earlier. with the help of her dear friend Poirot the answer is yet to be found- within the revaltions of a swiss school teacher, a strange doctor s diagnosis and a ... Murder in Mesopotamia - Agatha Christie ... is another fantastic Agatha Christie classic! i have read it two or three times and watch the tv adaptation several times as well and never get bored with the clever, intricate and delicate story line. it is perfect for fans of other Agatha Christie novels, particuarly murder on the orient express. the story is set at an archeological site- known as the Hassanieh dig. a friend, Amy Letheran, of the famous detective Hercule Poirot is concerned about the goings on at the site and in particuarly the presence of Louise Leidner, wife of archeologist Dr Leidner.
