As with every Patricia Scanlan book I ve read (which is most of them) I have enjoyed this one and it has a really good storyline. Francesca Kirwan is the main character and has been the best mother to her children and wife to her Mark her husband. When she drops him at the airport one morning she doesn t realise quite how much her life is about to change. She discovers her husband has been having an affair with young successful banker, Nikki Langan. I actually bought this book having already read the second in the series (Mirror, Mirror), although at the time I didn't realise they had any connection! I still found this book a brilliant read and it wasn't spoilt by the fact that I knew what happened in the sequel! It is a story of lies, deceit, family problems and how these can be turned around and still enjoy the good times to. Ellen Munroe is the main character that has fallen for a lying cheat that doesn't deserve the undivided love he receives from her. When she finds out she is pregnant will he do the honourable thing and marry her or turn his back on the whole situation? Sheila Munroe, Ellen's mother, cant believe her ...
