A review of the Thunderbolts: Civil War trade paperback, published in the US by Marvel Comics. This volume reprints material that was originally published in issues 101 to 105 of the ongoing Thunderbolts comic book series. This volume is part of the Civil War crossover event that ran through most of Marvel's major titles in 2007. Having run for something like nine or ten years, the Thunderbolts were always Marvel Comics unlikeliest heroes. The major revelation (which came at the end of the very first issue) was that they weren't actually heroes at all.
