Author Jacqueline Wilson has written some fantastic stories over the years, of which many I have enjoyed. One of my favourites is without a doubt the wonders of Clean Break! Clean Break is about Em and her family; her mum, brother, sister and gran. Her mums partner leaves them close to the festive period and upturns everything. Em misses him greatly and hopes he will soon return, as do most of them. But will he return, or has he gone for good? This book is aimed at children around the age of 10 - 12, though even now I still enjoy it! It does not take much thinking to follow, though it does provide an interesting read.
