Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type - Doreen Cronin

I love this book, although I fear that the plot subtleties are lost on my three-year-old! Still, he likes it too, and its nice to have a book that makes me laugh as well. And it does make me laugh, pretty much every time. "Farmer Brown has a problem. His cows like to type. All day long he hears Click, Clack, MOO". The story is simply written - short sentences, very factual description of a delightfully absurd situation. Farmer Brown wants them to produce milk, but they keep sending him type-written notes, demanding electric blankets and other luxuries. They go on strike and Duck has to mediate. This is a very amusing and witty story which will entertain both children and adults alike. Click, Clack, Moo cows that type is the first published story book by author Doreen Cronin. An attorney by trade who also happens to collect antique typewriters she wrote this story in the middle of the night in twenty minutes no less whilst grieving for her father.
