The book is set out as a diary, starting with Rob's girlfriend leaving him and their apartment, thus leading him to rejoin the ranks of the New York bouncers. Books and reading being one of the things I spend most of my money on it isnt so odd that I discovered the world of blogging several years ago as it began to take off on the internet. One blog I found fairly late on was called Standing on the box, a blog detailing life working as a bouncer in New York nightclub scene. Then last year the blogging started to get less and less frequent, after a few weeks an announcement was made, the writer had been given a book deal, and this is the resulting work.
