Advantages: Make learning fun

Disadvantages: Some aren't as good as others

I have six of these fantastic revision guides and I'm getting another soon, and I swear I would be stranded without some of them.
I got through my KS3 science with one of these. I spent most of the year talking in class and beimg a general slacker, but I made it out of the exams with a level 7 (two levels above average - woo hoo!). I'd love to claim it was because I'm so amazingly intelligent, but I don't like to lie. The science revision guide saved my life!
They are written with a lively tone, full of loads of pictures and diagrams, colourful writing and ridiculous jokes. I hate to say it, but they really do make learning fun!
And all of this education for just two pounds per book (if ordered through a school. £3 otherwise).
All their publications come in different tiers to suit personal levels.
Some of the books are of a higher standard than others. As I say, the science ones are just full to the brim with knowledge, but the history one is lacking a bit. It's basically just an outline of the period we have to know. Others vary.
