Snowdonia National Park covers a huge area of over 800 square miles and contains the six highest mountains in England or Wales. The scenery can be wild and forbidding, but also stunningly beautiful and breathtaking. With such a large area, many walks are available for people of differing abilities, and many where few other people will be around. This book describes thirty different walks in the area, most within the Snowdonia National Park, but a few just outside its boundaries (the author explains that this gives the reader a choice of walks when Snowdonia is wet, as it often is; places outside the 'rain shadow' can have fine weather).
