Four friends, one wedding. Therein lies the foundation for this second novel written jointly by Josie Lloyd and Emlyn Rees. It doesn't sound very exciting does it? It doesn't even sound very interesting when I think about it. But it is actually very enjoyable. Now, I've said already that this novel is the second to be written by said authors, but what I haven't mentioned yet is it's the sequel to their first, 'Come Together'. They like their barely borderline risque titles don't they? What I want to point out first is that this book stands alone. And I'm not saying this based on assumptions after reading both, ... Despite the fact that there's a tag line emblazoned on the cover "From the bestselling authors of "Come Together"" I never really picked up on the fact that this book is, in fact, a sequel. Thankfully, I concluded, you don't need to have read the first to make sense of the second (although I suspect that if you read the first after the second that might just prove a little odd!). Jack and Amy (introduced in the first book) have just moved in together and are about to get married. Jack's best man (and now ex-flatmate), Matt is feeling a little left out - he's lost his flatmate, is single and feels that life is just passing him by. Also ... Read the complete review

Following on from their best-selling "Come Together", Josie Lloyd and Emlyn Rees bring you another "he says, she says" tale featuring Jack and Amy or, to be more accurate, their friends. There is an element of continuity as Jack and Amy do appear from time to time, and two of the main characters featured in the original. Jack and Amy have just moved in together and are not too far away from their wedding day. During the run in to their big day, we get a peek into the lives of four of their closest friends. On Jack's side, we get to know Matt (he also appeared in the first book) and Greg Stringer. Matt is Jack's best man and it's up to him ... Read the complete review

Come Again The book is the sequel to Come Together. It is written by Josie Lloyd and Emlyn Hughes. The Unique Selling Point (Yes I have been paying attention in Marketing lectures) of these books is that they are written by two authors to get a fairly accurate male and female point of view. I borrowed this from the library as the first one was not too bad and felt like a nice fluffy book after all the books I?ve been reading for university. It took me four weeks to read it but I was reading it out to Duskman at bedtime. If I had not I would have finished it in a week. It has 287 pages in the hardback copy I borrowed from the library. The ... Read the complete review

Written as the sequel to the classic 'Come Together' by the same authors, Come Again is asked to deliver a lot. The original set new standards and a great recipe where two main characters each took turns to tell the story. Chapter one him. Chapter two her. Chapter three him, and so on. It may sound simple but it worked to perfection in telling the story of Jack and Amy. Come Again is based upon the wedding of Jack of Amy though you never hear from the two directly. This is the authors first mistake. Many people will have purchased this book to hear again from the two characters they became so fond of. Not to hear from them except through their friends ...
