This really is an excellent book. I bought it to aid myself through my ‘A’ Level Business/Economics course, and it certainly helped. From Abnormal profits to Z scores, literally everything is covered in great detail. Its a guide to all the key terms which are likely to appear on this course. Each entry begins with a clear, one-sentence definition and is followed by explanations and examples. The more important the term, the more detailed the entry to help you to answer case study or essay questions. Numerical concepts are supported by formulae and worked examples. All entries are carefully cross-referenced and the A-Z format makes the book incredibly easy to use. As well as this, there is also a special exam section at the back. In here it helps you to underside what the questions are asking, special phrases and terms which should be used and also tips on revision. It is useful at all different stages of the course, It will help new students break through the barrier of economics and business jargon. It will help people during the course, because the developed explanations of key concepts will strengthen written answers and provides references to supplement classwork. It helps in exam revision because it helps to give you a good grasp of terminology and theory, both of which are essential for exam success. It also contains revision lists of the key concepts for Economics and Business exams, as well as a glossary of examiners’ terms, making it the complete revision companion. The book itself is written by examiners and teachers of the subject, so you can guarantee that nothing will be missed. This really is an excellent book. All the definitions are made simple and easy to read, so you won’t be puzzled after you’ve read it. If I ever had a query, I would always look in here first, and it always told me exactly what I needed to know. This book is essent
