It's very difficult to review a book which is made up of a large number of short stories, as this one is. The individual stories were written a number of decades of Asimov's life, and are mostly arranged in series of perhaps a dozen, following some of the same characters. The settings range from a family home to the sun side of Mercury and the robot and human participants are equally diverse.
