This book is pretty good stuff – in this book there is plenty of information about home networking and also a fair bit of information on business side of things.
It covers a wide spectrum of operating systems, including NT, Me, 98, Netware, Unix, Linux and much more, and even goes one step further and gives a brief guide on how to install Linux – something you would pay £20 for a dedicated book, and this alone does the job.

All stages of networking are catered for, including initial planning, what you need, how to install the hardware, how to configure the software, and even maintenance, this is a pretty faultless book indeed!

I am a big fan of the dummies books, and this is yet another top addition to the series. If you are thinking of getting into home networking, you could do a lot worse than to buy this book.
