The concrete blonde Hieronymous Bosch – Harry to his friends, is the lead character in what is not surprising called the Harry Bosch mysteries. And according to the chronological order of publication “The Concrete Blonde” is number three! I first picked up Michael Connolly books by mistake and now I have read most of them. The story lines are excellently written and because he was a former police reporter you get a sense of factual input in terms of police behaviour and procedure! This is the third book in Michael Connelly's series focusing on the maverick detective Harry "Hieronymous" Bosch, a rather flawed and refreshing character who doesnt conform to many stereotypes and has a wicked sense of humour. One of the few detective characters that is genuinely believable. The plot is set, as always, in and around Los Angeles, and as usual Harry has got himself into a bit of a pickle.
