Confessions was a book that I picked up only because it was part of a 3 for 2 offer at Borders and I already had 2 books that I really wanted, so picked this one up as the cover appealed to me since it looked quite chick lit and very easy reading. It is part of a series but the previous books aren't essential reading as the first few pages tend to give you an impression of what has happened in the past few books. However, having borrowed a few of the previous books since reading Confessions, I can say they are also very good. The book is set in an exclusive private boarding school called Easton Academy.
