Advantages: its great!

Disadvantages: none

This book book had me laughing from start to end. Rebecca Bloomwood is a Financial journalist who is quite frankly crap at her job as she spends most of it either coping articles from other newspapers or daydreaming about shoes, bag, clothes basically anything with a price tag on!

Sadly, Rebecca has maxed out her Visa, and every other credit card going and is receiving threatening letters from her bank which she is slowly running out of excuses at why she cant pay up! Even more sadly, she just can't curb her addiction to shopping, its the reason she wakes in the morning and the can only get a goods night sleep knowing she has bought some new great boots she just has to have for 'work'.

Rebecca Bloomwood is a heroine in every deserved way, Sophie Kinsella writes this fantastically, with every page seeing how deeper and deeper Rebecca's problem actually is!

If you've ever aspired to be Glam and head to toe in designer but never quite have the bank balance to accomplish this, you'll laugh and cry along with Becky as she attempts the two biggest ways to achieve financial security, cutting Back and Making More Money. Her attempts are disastrous, her failures hysterical and in the process of cutting back seems to spend more money than she would normally! and then to reward herself for 'cutting' back more and more bags would trail through her apartment with her.

This book is filled with shopping, debt, romance, love and embarrassment and i think every woman could relate to atleast one of the things Becky goes through

This book is truly a fantastic read which I couldn't put down. I highly
recommend!!

Writing this review has made me remember what a great book it is and im going to dig it out and have another read!

I read this book thinking it was going to be rubbish and overly girly (I've not seen the film) - but I totally agree with you - it was hilarious! x
