Advantages: Funny
Disadvantages: Very Short
For anybody who has read any of my previous reviews this book is not really my type of thing, i am a fan of crime novels and fantasy. But I was in HMV and I spotted the book for £4 and I thought why not?
Confessions is the story of Rebecca Bloomwood, Rebecca graduated from university and went on to become a journalist for a finance magazine in London. However Rebecca has no interest in her job, she copies her stories from Press Packs and gets drunk at Finance conferences. Rebecca also is in a great amount of debt due to her addiction to shopping! The story leads us to see how Rebecca deals with the debt, and she ends up landing a new job after she finds an ibnterest in a finance issue! She falls in love has a new career but the habit is still there! Not a complete happily ever after! But still very fab!
Firstly the book is brilliant.
Its hillarious, theres a lot of parts where Rebecca Trails off in thought, like alot of women, and It had me in stiches. I found myself to realting to her purchases, boredom does lead to spending, and its funny to see the extent of her addiction!
I think this is a great read for women, I dont believe men would have any interest at all. However I would advise fans to stay clear from the film!
The book is quite short, i finished it in less than 24 hours! However there are more books in the series to keep you hooked!
Summary: Great fun! A must Read for Women
