I love Jamie Oliver, I know alot of people find him irritating, but I love his passion for food and the simple ingredients he uses to create lovely dishes. This is his seventh book and the proceeds go to 'Fifteen', a scheme Jamie set up to get unemployed people into cooking and becoming chefs. The scheme has been so successful that he now owns restaurants run by his 'Fifteen' students. This book is my favourite cookery book, it is called 'My Guide to Making You a Better Cook' and I really believe it does that. I consider myself something of an amatuer chef and I love hosting dinner parties. I usually either hit the internet or turn to a cook book for choices. Out of all the chefs I ranked Mr. Oliver at the top. Quite simply his recipes are top notch and this is my favourite of his books. When I find is that Oliver has a rather basic, but nonetheless creative approach to cooking. He uses good quality products but doesn't get poncy with them. Instead he combines the flavours into often rich and terribly enjoyable foods. We all know and love ?? Jamie Oliver, the award winning Naked Chef, star of Jamie's school dinners and successful restaurants, books and cookery programmes. Well, actually from some of the comments I've read about him on this site before, we don't all love him, I think it's a case of love or hate, but aside from that he does produce some amazing cook books. The one I am reviewing is called Cook with Jamie and it is a hardbound book, published in 2006 by the Penguin Group.
