I have just been given a copy of "Cornish Collections" for my birthday. (It is compiled by Save the Children Fund (Redruth) and 100% profits go to that charity. ) As an expat Cornishman I read it with interest and a cynicism that most expats seem to have about famous people living in their beloved country. I was pleasantly surprised, and, more surprisingly - impressed. The most important thing that came across first was a great love of Cornwall.
