Assassins at Ospreys - R. T. RaichevHigh class murder mystery writing (523 words)

Assassins at Ospreys is a country house murder mystery written by English author R.T. Raichev and features a murder mystery writer called Antonia. This is the third novel in the series but the first I'd actually read, the book takes a stab at taking the average murder mystery and turning it into something more cerebral and complicated. Antonia is now a relatively famous murder mystery writer and at a book signing event she meets two rather sinister fans, the invalid called Goldilocks and her menacing nurse Ingrid. They claim to be Antonia's biggest fans and invite and her husband to visit them at the home, Antonia decides to take them up on the offer and the books mystery begins ...
The Death of Corinne - R. T. RaichevAnother cracker from RT Raichev (643 words)
by darren55 - written on 01/09/10 (Very useful, 38 readings)
The Death of Corinne is RT Raichev's second novel featuring Antonia Darcy, a now semi-successful crime writer in her forties. She is married to Major Payne as compared with being the focus of his ardour in the first novel. In this novel, Antonia and her now husband Hugo have just returned from an arduous honeymoon in France and other countries to be invited to the country house of Hugo's aunt Lady Grylls. On the cusp of their arrival one of his Aunts friends contacts her wishing to send the world famous singer Corinne to stay with her because she had been receiving death threats in the post. The singer Corinne is a woman in her fifties, still young looking, breathtaking voice ...
The Hunt for Sonya Dufrette - R. T. RaichevA little girl goes missing on the day of the Royal Wedding (683 words)
by darren55 - written on 27/06/10 (Very useful, 50 readings)
The Hunt for Sonya Dufrette is the first novel by R.T. Raichev, a Bulgarian novelist who lives in London (hope I got that right). I read his Assassins at the Ospreys novel which is the fourth book in the series and thoroughly enjoyed it so went out and got the first three books. I wish I d read this one first because as with all series of books written about a small cast of characters its best to get on the ground floor first before meeting them when they have become established in their relationships. The hunt for Sonya Dufrette introduces us to the main character in the novels an aspiring author called Antonia Darcy, she is a librarian in a gentleman s club with a pen ...
