The Righteous Men - Sam Bourne ... Bourne is a pseudonym for Jonathan Freedland, a journalist and broadcaster. He has a weekly column in the Guardian, as well as a monthly column in The Jewish Chronicle. He has published a couple of non-fiction books, but "The Righteous Men" is his first novel. Clearly, somewhere along the way, she hasn’t lost her sense of humour. The story Robert Amiss is a serial drifter, not having been able to hold down a proper job for any length of time. Finally, however, partly to appease his new girlfriend, Rachel, he takes on the posi... Read the full review: A satire of the upper classes by sunmeilan |
